Michael John McCarthy (born November 10, 1963) is a former American football coach who most recently served as the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL. From 2006 to 2018, he was the head coach of the Green Bay Packers, leading them to a Super Bowl XLV victory in 2011 over the Pittsburgh Steelers, his hometown team. McCarthy also held positions as the offensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers and the New Orleans Saints prior to his tenure with the Packers.

McCarthy ranks second to Curly Lambeau in all-time wins as head coach of the Green Bay Packers.
