Virginia Halas mccaskey

 

Virginia Halas McCaskey (born Virginia Marion Halas on January 5, 1923) is an American football executive and the principal owner of the Chicago Bears in the National Football League (NFL). She is the daughter of the team's founder, George Halas, and took over ownership of the franchise following his passing in 1983.





Virginia Halas McCaskey (born Virginia Marion Halas on January 5, 1923, in Chicago, Illinois) is 102 years old. She graduated from Drexel University and was married to Ed McCaskey from 1943 until his passing in 2003. Together, they had 11 children, including Michael and George McCaskey. She is the daughter of George Halas, the legendary founder of the Chicago Bears, and the sister of George Halas Jr.
