Hughes Fire Evacuations:
Evacuation orders have been issued for parts of Los Angeles County near Castaic Lake, including areas east of Lake Piru, west of Bouquet Canyon Road, south of Sandberg, and north of Castaic Junction.
Ventura County has also issued evacuation orders for areas to the east of Lake Piru and west of Interstate 5.

Palisades Fire Road Closures:
Road closures include Ridge Route Road at Lake Hughes Road, Ridge Route Road at Templin Highway, Lake Hughes Road at Pine Canyon Road, and Dry Gulch Road at San Francisquito Canyon Motorway. Additionally, the Parker Road and Lake Hughes Road off-ramps on the northbound 5 Freeway are closed.
Earlier today, both directions of Interstate 5 along the Grapevine section were shut down, but the road reopened by Wednesday evening.

Palisades Fire Update:
Containment: As of Wednesday evening, the fire is 70% contained and has scorched more than 23,400 acres.
Damage: Officials report that 6,662 structures have been destroyed, with an additional 890 damaged.
Lives Lost: 11 people have been confirmed dead as a result of the Palisades fire.
Evacuations: Some mandatory evacuation zones have been lifted, allowing residents to return. To re-enter, residents must present a valid photo ID, such as a driver’s license, with their name, photo, and physical address, as instructed by the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department. However, most of Pacific Palisades, along with parts of Malibu, Brentwood, and Topanga, remain under evacuation orders as of Tuesday.

Eaton Fire Update:
Containment: As of 7 p.m. Wednesday, the fire is 95% contained and has burned over 14,000 acres.
Damage: Officials report that 9,418 structures have been destroyed, with 1,073 more damaged.
Lives Lost: 17 people have been confirmed dead as a result of the Eaton fire.
Evacuations: Evacuation orders have been lifted for parts of south Altadena. "Soft closures" remain in effect for areas within the mandatory evacuation zone, including south of East Altadena Drive, north of West Harriet Street and East Mendocino Street, west of North Allen Street, and east of Lincoln Avenue.
